Snæfellsnes Peninsula Community Workshop Day

Join us for an unforgettable full‑day trip to the stunning Snæfellsnes Peninsula!
In Snæfellsnes, we will be able to see the challenges and unique circumstances faced by the international mobility participants in the rural areas of Iceland. At the town of Grundarfjörður, we will learn about their LIFE Icewater project focusing on blue-green infrastructure, and discover some of Iceland’s most iconic landscapes.
Bus seats are limited.

Logistics, and what is covered by the trip fee?
The bus transport from Hvanneyri, which finishes its journey at BSÍ Central Bus Station in Reykjavík.
Please be aware that on Friday evening, participants will be asked to prepare and pack their refreshments and dinner for the trip from pre-purchased food supplies purchased at COSTCO.
There is no arranged lunch at the restaurant, and dining options for a group like ours are very limited on the peninsula during the high season. We will make a stop at Bónus supermarket, and you will be asked to buy your lunch there.
